The RESTORE clinical trial is a large scale research study in Australia exploring back pain treatments. We are trying to measure how effective existing treatments are for people with persistent low back pain, while also testing newer forms of treatment that involve individualised movement rehabilitation.

If you live in Perth and are seeking care for back pain that has lasted 3 months or more, you may be eligible to participate. We will randomly assign willing participants to one of three groups: one group where we measure the effectiveness of whatever treatments you use over a year; and two groups where you engage in up to 7 free sessions of individualised movement rehabilitation with a physiotherapist.

Participating in this trial will help us to improve the treatments available to the millions people around the world who live with persistent low back pain.
