In Australia, 2,000 people a day are treated for skin cancer and 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70. Your participation supports research designed to advance future treatment options.

Why This Treatment Is Different 

This new approach delivers treatment, via injection, directly to the skin cancer site, potentially offering:

  • Enhanced treatment efficacy
  • Targeted therapy with minimal impact on surrounding tissue

Inclusion Criteria 

✓ Age: 18-85 years old

✓ Diagnosis: Current untreated nBCC

✓ Biopsy: Punch biopsy confirmation of nBCC (if applicable) within the last 12 weeks

Exclusion Criteria 

✗ nBCC located on the lips, nose, ears, scalp, hands, or fingers

✗ Melanoma in the past 5 years (unless successfully treated grade 0-1)

✗ Non-nBCC or other skin cancers

Additional eligibility criteria apply. Our study team will discuss these with you during the screening process.

Study Timeline 

  • Duration: Approximately 3 months
  • Total visits: up 16 clinic appointments
  • Treatment Period: 29 days
  • Day 1: May require a 6-hour post-dose in the clinic stay for observation and blood tests
