Elevated Lipoprotein(a) is a type of cholesterol that can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. It is often a genetic condition that is not lowered by the type of medication currently available.
Novatrials is seeking volunteers to join a clinical study of a potential new treatment that may help lower cholesterol levels.
You may be eligible to join the study if you:
- Are over 50 years of age
- Have not had a heart attack or stroke, or been treated with stents
- Are taking cholesterol lowering medication
Participants receive trial-related medical care and medication at no cost from a dedicated team of health professionals. Participants also receive a reimbursement to cover the cost of travel and time for attending visits.
