Elevated Lipoprotein(a) is a type of cholesterol that can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. It is often a genetic condition that is not lowered by the type of medication currently available.
Novatrials is seeking volunteers to join a clinical study of a potential new treatment that may help lower cholesterol levels.
You may be eligible to join the study if you:
· are over 50 years of age
· have no prior incidences of heart attack or stroke
· have elevated cholesterol, despite taking cholesterol lowering medication, or have a family history of high cholesterol.
Participants receive trial-related medical care and medication at no cost from a dedicated team of health professionals. Participants also receive a reimbursement to cover the cost of travel and time for attending visits.
