Novatrials is seeking participants who are obese, or overweight with weight-related health conditions, to participate in a weight loss clinical study. The study drug is a once-weekly injection of a potential new weight loss treatment.
Eligibility Requirements
The study may be suitable for you if you:
- Are aged 18 years or older
- Have a BMI of 30+ or a BMI of 27+ with at least one other weight related health condition e.g. hypertension, dyslipidaemia, sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, heart failure, kidney disease, steatohepatitis, knee osteoarthritis, stress urinary incontinence (calculate your BMI)
- Have maintained a stable body weight for at least 3 months
- Are not currently on any weight loss medication and have not previously undergone weight loss surgery
What to Expect
Participants will undergo:
- Screening period: up to 2 weeks (1 visit)
- Treatment period: up to 104 weeks (19 visits)
- Follow-up period: up to 4 weeks (1 visit)
Participants will also receive diet and activity advice to support weight loss and health.
