20150164: This study is investigating a drug that has been developed for the treatment of a disease called Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) – PNH is a disease where red blood cells break down excessively due to the body’s immune system attacking these cells.
Volunteers required:
- Healthy men only
- Aged 18 – 45 years
- BMI 18-30kg/m2 inclusive
- Weight between 50-90kg
- Not taking any prescription or OTC medications for 14 days prior to admission
- Light or social smokers can participate provided you can refrain from smoking whilst an inpatient
Study Duration:
- 2 days/nights as an inpatient
- 11 outpatient visits
