Novatrials is seeking volunteers who are overweight and living with type 2 diabetes for a clinical study of a potential new treatment. The study medication is a once-weekly injection into the skin. It is designed to reduce body weight and improve other health outcomes.
What to Expect
Participants will undergo:
- Screening period up to 4 weeks
- Two night in-clinic stay after the initial dose
- In-clinic dosage visits every week throughout the 24-week study period
Eligibility Requirements
You may be suitable to join this study if you:
- Are aged 18 to 70 years
- Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months
- Have a BMI between 27 and 40 (calculate your BMI)
- Are not currently on any weight loss medication and have not previously undergone weight loss surgery
Participant Information
All trial-related medical care and medication is provided at no cost by our dedicated healthcare team. Travel reimbursement is also provided for all study visits to our Charlestown clinic.
