Novatrials is seeking participants with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) to join a clinical study of a potential new treatment. This study is designed to investigate a new drug that may assist people with T2D to achieve recommended blood glucose levels. Participants will inject themselves with the study drug using an injection pen.
Eligibility Requirements
This study may be suitable for you if you:
- Are aged 18-75 years
- Have been diagnosed with T2D ≥180 days before screening
- Have been on a stable dose of T2D medication ≥90 days before screening
- Have a BMI between 25 and 50. Not sure about your BMI? Calculate it here.
What to Expect
Participants will undergo:
- 3-week screening period to check that the study is right for you
- 40-week treatment period where you will take the study drug
- Post-treatment follow-up six weeks after the end of treatment
During the research study, there will be 18 clinic visits that could take up to several hours and 18 phone visits that could take about 1 hour or less.
