Novatrials is recruiting volunteers who are living with obesity for a clinical study of a potential new treatment. The study medication is a once-weekly injection into the skin. It is designed to reduce body weight and improve other key health indicators.
What to Expect
Participants will undergo:
- Initial phone consultation up to 30 minutes
- Screening period up to 4 weeks
- In-clinic visits every 4 weeks throughout the 80-week duration of the study
Eligibility Requirements
You may be eligible to join this study if you:
- Are aged 18 years or older
- Have a BMI over 30 OR have a BMI over 27 and have been previously diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, or heart disease
- Can self-inject the study medication at home (training will be provided)
- Are not currently on any other weight loss medication and have not previously undergone weight loss surgery
- Have been unsuccessful in losing weight with diet and exercise in the past 6 months

All trial-related medical care and medication is provided at no cost by our dedicated healthcare team. Travel reimbursement is also provided for all study visits to our Charlestown clinic.
