We are testing a treatment developed for polycythemia vera, which is a condition that has limited therapeutic options and no cure is currently available.
The medication will be administered subcutaneously (into the skin). This trial aims to explore the effect of the medication in healthy Japanese subjects and compare the effect with that of healthy Caucasian subject, in order that the medication can be developed in Japan.
The medication has previously been administered to 48 healthy volunteers.
Participants must be available to attend our unit for a 5 day & night inpatient stay as well as 10 short follow-up appointments. All meals are provided during your stay, along with free Wi-Fi and game console. Eligible participants who complete the trial will be reimbursed for their time.
