Veracity Clinical Research has over 5 years of experience conducting clinical trials. The site has conducted over 40 clinical trials from phase I through phase III. Disease conditions include psoriasis, pyoderma gangrenosum, actinic keratosis, acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema), skin cancer, hidradenitis suppurativa, lupus erythematosus, dermatitis, urticaria, basal cell carcinoma, and seborrheic dermatitis.
The site has secure temperature-controlled storage, -20 and -70 freezers, and an ambient centrifuge, as well as access to x-ray, CT, DEXA, and ultrasound services. Investigators and staff are trained in ICH Good Clinical Practice.
Principal Investigator Dr. Lynda Spelman has worked as a specialist dermatologist in Australia for more than 20 years, and has an extensive 25 year history of involvement in clinical research. She is also a founder and a director of the Queensland Institute of Dermatology, a not-for-profit organisation devoted to training, research and the provision of specialist dermatological services to patients across Queensland.
