The South West Sydney Area Health Service covers a vast area and includes a uniquely cultural diverse population. We currently have 21 different clinical trial units covering 17 different specialties. Our clinical trials units are spread across 4 different hospitals enabling us to access a broader population. Our facilities include clinical trial space, specialty clinics as well as the hospitals that house between 200-800 beds. We work in collaboration with supporting departments such as an internal pharmacy with a dedicated clinicla trail pharmacist, clinical information and pathology.
All our clinical research staff are trained in accordance to the ICH-GCP guidelines , have ongoing education and support and adhere to our district wide Standard Operating Procedures.

Furthermore, our research and ethics office conducts regular internal audits to ensure each site has the correct information filled within their site files, safety information is being communicated and that all ethics and governance submissions are up to date.
As a large organisation we encourage collaboration, providing support, education and guidance where needed. We are dedicated o building a clinical trials infrastructure and welcome Investigator, Collaborative and Industry sponsors to work with our experienced and dedicated team.
