Fremantle Dermatology has 20 years of experience conducting dermatology clinical trials. The site has conducted over 25 clinical trials from phase I through phase III. Disease conditions include psoriasis, acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema), hidradenitis suppurativa, basal cell carcinoma, actinic keratosis, pyoderma gangrenosum, and onychomycosis (nail fungus).
The site has 4 examination rooms, secure temperature-controlled storage, lab/collection station, -20 freezer, and centrifuge, as well as access to x-ray, CT, DEXA, and ultrasound services. Investigators and staff are trained in ICH Good Clinical Practice.
Principal Investigator Clinical Associate Professor Kurt Gebauer has been practicing dermatology for over 25 years in Australia. Professor Gebauer is well-known in the medical community, and his current positions include Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia as a lecturer, educator and a medical dermatological specialist.
As a contributing author on many publications, Professor Gebauer is a recognized authority on dermatological conditions. Professor Gebauer is also a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, Australasian College of Phlebology, American Academy of Dermatology and the International Society of Dermatologists.
