Central Sydney Dermatology has over 15 years of experience conducting dermatology clinical trials in phases II through IV. Disease conditions include psoriasis, masseter muscle hypertrophy, actinic keratosis, seborrheic dermatitis, and basal cell carcinoma. Additional research interests include acne and atopic dermatitis (eczema).
The site has secure temperature-controlled storage, lab/collection station, and centrifuge, as well as access to x-ray, 12-lead ECG, CT, DEXA, and ultrasound services. Investigators and staff are trained in ICH Good Clinical Practice.
Principal Investigator Dr. Adrian Lim has been practicing dermatology in Australia for a number of years with a special interest in procedural laser work. He has private practices at the Sydney Skin & Vein Clinic, uRepublic Cosmetic Skin & Laser Clinic, and St. George Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centre. Dr. Lim is an experienced Dermatologist belonging to numerous associations including the Australasian College of Dermatologists, the Australasian College of Phlebology, the American Academy of Dermatology and the International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology.
Additional staff at the site include sub-investigators Dr. Stephen Shumack and Dr. Anthea Mulcahy, and coordinators Sue Hinton and Sharyn Hutchinson.
