A Parkinson's Disease Initiative
AustralianClinicalTrials.com is excited to announce a new collaboration with Shake It Up Australia Foundation. Our two groups have come together in an effort to increase the visibility and accessibility of Parkinson’s disease trials in Australia.
Clinical trials are the final and crucial step in delivering new drugs and better treatments to patients. There are many different types of Parkinson’s trials, including ones that test new drug compounds and devices (interventional trials), ones that aim to better understand the disease (observational trials), and tests of non-pharmacological interventions.

What is Shake It Up?
Shake It Up is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes and funds Parkinson’s research in Australia, to accelerate innovative research and treatments to slow, stop, and cure Parkinson’s.
What do they do?
Shake It Up Australia Foundation is a not- for-profit organisation established in 2011 and in partnership with The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) promotes and funds Parkinson’s disease research in Australia aimed at better treatments and ultimately a cure.
