Australian researchers are testing a new treatment for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), an advanced form of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). A new medication is to be taken orally 3 times daily throughout this 24 week study. You will be treated at no cost, and all information gathered will be confidential. Participation is completely voluntary, and you may discontinue the study at any time and for any reason.
You may be able to participate if:
- You are likely to have, or do have NASH
- You do not have any other coronary, liver, or kidney diseases
- You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding, or have participated in a trial within the last 8 weeks
