An Australian researcher is testing an investigational product (Hidracare). In this study, we are trying to find out if Hidracare solution, a salt mixture, could improve the skin condition Hidradentitis suppurativa (HS) (also known as acne inversa) when applied to HS lesions. The Hidracare solution and study-related care will be provided at no cost. Reimbursement for study-related expenses will also be provided.

Study participation will last about 10 weeks and involves 4 visits to the study centre and 1 telephone call from site staff.

You may be able to participate if you are:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed by a dermatologist with mild to moderate HS
  • Have at least 1 HS lesion
  • Refrain from draining fluid from the affected HS area for the duration of the study.

Expressing your interest does not automatically mean that you will be able to take part in the study. A study staff member from the research location will be in touch to discuss further.
