An Australian researcher is testing an investigational product (Hidracare). In this study, we are trying to find out if Hidracare solution, a salt mixture, could improve the skin condition Hidradentitis suppurativa (HS) (also known as acne inversa) when applied to HS lesions. The Hidracare solution and study-related care will be provided at no cost. Reimbursement for study-related expenses will also be provided.
Study participation will last about 10 weeks and involves 4 visits to the study centre and 1 telephone call from site staff.
You may be able to participate if you are:
- 18 years of age or older
- Have been diagnosed by a dermatologist with mild to moderate HS
- Have at least 1 HS lesion
- Refrain from draining fluid from the affected HS area for the duration of the study.
